Trileaf is hiring Project Archaeologists in Maryland, Seattle (PNW) & St. Louis, MO.
Trileaf Corporation is a nationwide environmental, architecture, and engineering consulting firm that assists clients with environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, and engineering & architectural design. Trileaf serves the wireless communications, real estate, financial and petroleum industries from its headquarters in St. Louis, MO and multiple branch offices throughout the U.S.
Trileaf is seeking a full time, SOI-Qualified, field Project Archaeologist. This individual should have at least 2 years of field experience and applied knowledge of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), specifically related to telecommunications projects.
Responsibilities and Duties
The job will include, but is not limited to, the completion Phase I telecom surveys, review of SHPO file for above and below ground cultural resources, construction monitoring, and cultural resource report writing/production. Travel to project sites may include overnight stays. Overall travel requirements average about 2 days a week.
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered, the resume of the applicant must demonstrate the following qualifications/skills:
- Master’s degree or higher in archaeology, anthropology, or closely related field
- SOI Qualified
- Capable of field work
- Ability and willingness to travel (travel not expected to exceed 2-3 days at a time)
- Flexible and adaptable
- Good computer skills
- Be an independent worker dedicated to excellence
- Attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
- Valid Driver License

Salary range: $50,000 – $70,000 depending on experience
