The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation is recruiting a Training Specialist (GG-13) to coordinate the ACHP’s Section 106 training program within the Office of Federal Agency Programs in Washington, DC. The position serves as the agency’s primary adult education specialist; develops curriculum, class instruction, and guidance materials for general training and outreach concerning Section 106 and the National Historic Preservation Act; and plays a key role in sharing the ACHP’s technical expertise on federal historic preservation requirements. The Training Specialist collaborates with other ACHP offices to develop and deliver classroom courses and distance learning, including a growing eLearning curriculum.
