The American Cultural Resources Association mourns the passing of Deb Nichols, our friend, colleague, and collaborator who helped guide the Society for American Archaeology during difficult times. An overview of Deb’s productive life is available here. We appreciate her efforts to strengthen ties with other organizations involved in advocating for cultural heritage and historic preservation, and we offer our deepest condolences to her husband, Mark Watanabe, and their son, Aaron.
