The U.S. Small Business Administration is holding a public forum on its proposed size standards changes on Thursday, Sept. 17, at which members of the public can provide testimony.
As previously reported in ACRASphere, the SBA has proposed massive changes to its size standards, which if implemented would redefine many more CRM firms as small businesses. For example, the size standard for NAICS code 541620, Environmental Consulting Services, would increase under the SBA’s proposal by 1453 percent, from $19 million to $295 million.
In order to attend the public forum, you must pre-register and indicate whether you would like to testify. Testimony presented at these forums will become part of the administrative record for SBA’s consideration when developing the final rule.
Written comments on the proposed rule are due to SBA by Sept. 21. Comments may be submitted on the proposed rule at www.regulations.gov by identifying ‘‘RIN 3245–AI67.”
