Have you nominated your project for the ACHP/ HUD Secretary’s Award yet? The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development are looking for exemplary historic preservation efforts to honor with their joint award.

Nominated projects involve historic preservation efforts with affordable housing and community revitalization and do the following:

  • Promote the use of historic buildings for affordable housing, community development, and/or expanded economic opportunities
  • Include HUD funds or financing
  • Meet preservation guidelines
  • Contribute to local community revitalization efforts

The deadline for nominations is August 15, 2022, 11:59 p.m. PDT. 

A jury of preservation professionals from HUD and the ACHP will review the nominations, and a winner will be honored at a special ceremony in association with the summer 2023 ACHP business meeting.
