NLURA is currently seeking applicants for both full-time and seasonal positions. The positions listed below outline the qualification requirements as well as the anticipated job responsibilities.

  • Field Director – Seasonal is responsible for a combination of project management, scientific research, and field health and safety tasks under the direction and supervision of a NLURA project manager. The position may involve direct supervision of Crew Chiefs and/or Technicians. Candidates should assume that their duties will include office-based tasks and field-based tasks. Post-field data analysis and reporting tasks may be assigned based on an individual’s skillset and project needs.
  • Crew Chief – Seasonal is responsible for a combination of field management, scientific research, and health and safety tasks under the direction and supervision of a NLURA project manager and/or Field Director. The position may involve direct supervision of Technicians. Candidates should assume that most of their working hours will be spent in the field. Post-field data analysis and reporting tasks may be assigned based on an individual’s skillset and project needs.
  • Archaeological Technician – Seasonal performs field work, lab work, or related office work under the direction and supervision of a NLURA project manager, Field Director or Crew Chief. Candidates should assume that most of their working hours will be spent in the field. Post-field data analysis and reporting tasks may be assigned based on an individual’s skillset and project needs.
