What You’ll Do

This is a unique, high-visibility role for an early-career HR professional who thrives on variety and responsibility in a fast-paced consulting environment. As our HR Generalist, you’ll support the full employee lifecycle and take an active role in supporting an inclusive and thriving workplace. You’ll also serve as a key administrative assistant to our President, gaining firsthand experience into company operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting hiring, onboarding, and employee engagement programs
  • Managing HR records, compliance reporting, and benefits administration
  • Collaborating across regions and particularly with admin, safety, and accounting, to keep company operations aligned to strategic initiatives
  • Provide high level support to the President – calendaring, communications, and coordination

You will be the connector – helping employees feel seen, heard, and supported, while making sure Gray & Pape is compliant with policies, laws, and best practices.

Who You Are

You are someone who is organized, approachable, and you have a “let’s work together to solve the problem” person. You are comfortable in a fast-paced consulting environment, and you are ready to increase your HR knowledge and grow your career.

This role is perfect for someone who’s:

  • A strong, clear, and concise communicator with 2 or more years of progressive HR experience
  • Familiar with HRIS systems (Paylocity, Paycor, Paycom, ADP, etc) and Microsoft Suite
  • Curious, collaborative, and motivated by continuous learning
  • Ready to juggle details and deadlines without losing the human touch

Bonus points if you have worked in a multi-state environment, have a passion for inclusion for all, and you aspire to earn your HR certification.
