The Georgia Department of Community Affairs is looking for a Certified Local Government Coordinator in Atlanta, GA. Primary responsibilities are to direct program activities for the Certified Local Government program including application review, evaluations, and policy updates in accordance with the Georgia Historic Preservation Act; provide technical assistance to CLGs, non-profits, individuals, and historic preservation commissions including the review of local historic preservation ordinances, historic districts, design guidelines, and CLG evaluations; and provide assistance regarding historic preservation planning, design review, and commission operations.
This position is with the state historic preservation office (SHPO). The advertised salary is $40k-$45k.
