Environmental Solutions & Innovations, Inc. (ESI) is hiring a full-time Architectural Historian to complement their Cultural Resources Group program. The position is open to remote work as well as at ESI’s offices.
The successful Architectural Historian candidate will perform background research, aid in coordinating fieldwork, preparation of quality technical reports, and provide insightful technical and regulatory knowledge for consulting projects as part of a team. The position will require having a strong existing knowledge of federal and state cultural resource management regulations across several industries. Additionally, the position will require having high-quality personal time management and prioritization skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
ESI is a small multi-discipline environmental consulting firm with 20 years’ experience assisting clients in complying with state and federal policies related to the natural and cultural environment. Our staff includes over 60-full time scientists with specialties ranging from animal ecology to wetland science, landscapes and cultural resources. Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters in architectural history, art history, historic preservation, or related field.
- Completed at least two years of full-time consulting experience within architectural history.
- Knowledgeable of the MidAtlantic, Appalachia and the Midwest, with willingness to expand regional expertise.
Requirements:
- 5 years of relevant field experience.
- Must be able to pass all pre-hire screenings.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Compensation:
The salary range is $50k – $70k annually (commensurate with experience), generous paid time off allowances, 100% employer-paid health/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) with graduated match.
