Dovetail Cultural Resource Group is accepting applications for a full-time Project Archaeologist based out of their Fredericksburg, Virginia office. Primary responsibilities center on the day-to-day management of, and participation in, archaeological projects of all types and sizes. Responsibilities may also extend to writing archaeological project proposals, including scopes and budgets. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, with strong communication skills and broad experience in all phases of archaeological investigations. The salary range for this position is $45,000-$70,000, dependent upon experience, and the position is eligible for performance-based bonuses.
