The ACHP has approved a radical overhaul of the 800 regulations that implement Section 106 of the NHPA, and ACRA is currently creating resources for CRM practitioners to aid in the fight to protect them. One resource ACRA is aiming to provide is the most current numbers of employees in CRM (including support staff) per state to show the number of jobs that could be affected by the proposed changes, which can be used in your comments on the Federal Register, media outreach, conversations with legislators, and more.

ACRA’s Metrics & Data Standards Committee has put together a short survey to collect these data. We are asking that both members and non-members alike add the numbers from their firms to strengthen the fight and protect Section 106. This will allow us to give the best representation of the number of people who would be affected by these proposed changes. If you are not able to complete this, we ask that you send this to the person in your company who can.

All you will need is a basic count of the number of employees working for your organization on June 1, 2026 based in the states you operate. Only total numbers per state will be shared publicly. In order to ensure we are not counting duplicates, this survey meant to be completed once per organization.

Please feel free to share this with other firms! We hope that all organizations working in CRM are able to provide this basic data that can aid in the fight to protect the industry.
