The Collections Management and Curation Committee would like to invite membership to participate in the ACRA Collections Survey. With this anonymous survey, the Committee is seeking to assess the number of orphaned collections currently housed in the offices of CRM firms and develop ways to help firms find solutions such as curation or responsible disposition.

The Committee also hopes by shedding light on the intricacies of a problem nearly every member firm faces, we might help prevent its perpetuation. The data collected from this survey will be shared with ACRA members and other interested organizations via a white paper.

Please forward this survey to the person responsible for the collections intake and management at your company. While the survey is concerned with “orphaned collections”, if your firm retains collections for any length of time we want to hear from you. If more than one person or branch engages in these tasks, please enlist one person to assess the state of the company’s collections and limit your responses to one per company. There are a total of 10 multiple-choice, short answer, and yes-no questions. If you have any questions pertaining to this effort please feel free to contact Committee Chair Danielle Cathcart.
