This post is authored by ACRA President Cinder Miller.

The last few days have felt like a whirlwind, as the new President issues executive orders and proclamations at a furious pace. I know many of you are wondering how these actions will impact CRM – believe me, so am I!

ACRA is as committed as ever to speaking up for the CRM industry and giving member firms the best available resources and insight into how policy changes from Washington will affect them. ACRA leaders, staff and consultants are tracking every move the White House and Congress make. And we are working with our allies in and outside of government to make sure that the policy landscape helps CRM firms thrive.

Some of the administration’s actions may be beneficial to firms; some may be detrimental. To us, it doesn’t matter whether a policy idea is Republican or Democratic. The only question that counts is how it impacts the business of CRM and the vital work we do every day.

I encourage you to remain engaged as we go through this time of uncertain change. Keep an eye on ACRASphere as we report on all the Washington developments that touch CRM. Our post earlier today outlining some of the most relevant executive orders is just the start.

Most importantly, I urge you to get engaged. The best way to do that is to join us in D.C. in early March for Preservation Advocacy Week. ACRA is combining forces with the other major preservation groups to advocate on Capitol Hill with a single voice in support of CRM and preservation. It’s a great way to make sure that CRM is at the table, I am looking forward to seeing many of you there!
