Each spring ACRA brings members to Washington, DC to meet with their Representatives and Senators and discuss issues important to cultural resources management. However, we know that not everyone can make the trip to the nation’s capitol, so this year we are adding Virtual Advocacy Week!
Join us the week of September 14-18 for virtual meetings with your legislators. While this event was already planned, your participation is critical as the ACHP prepares to drastically alter historic preservation operations in the US.
ACRA will arrange your meetings and provide talking points/training beforehand. Together with fellow ACRA members, you will talk with Members of Congress and their staff about the most pressing CRM concerns. Meetings will be scheduled throughout the week to accommodate your schedule and those of congressional offices.
You can sign up now here, and we will follow up with additional information in the coming weeks!
Just because you can’t make it to DC doesn’t mean that you can’t make an impact. With issues like permitting reform and the proposed regulations by the ACHP on the table, it is more important than ever to make your voice heard. Sign up for ACRA’s Virtual Advocacy Week today.
