Archaeological Field Technicians – *URGENT NEED* Maryland, Pennsylvania, North Carolina Phase I & II Projects
RK&K is seeking multiple qualified Archaeological Field Technicians for several upcoming field projects (Phase I and Phase II) in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. Maryland and Pennsylvania Phase I and Phase II work starts on March 31 with the potential for continuous work through June 2025 in Pennsylvania and North Carolina. Pay rates range from $18.00 – $22.00/hr and will be commensurate with experience. All projects will include lodging and per diem. Required Skills and Experience
- BA/BS in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related field
- Archaeological field school
- Ability to work in the field under adverse conditions
- Ability to work in inclement weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to walk long distances
- Ability to document shovel test excavations and record detailed test unit notes
- Ability to work well with others
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Phase I and Phase II experience strongly preferred
