We know that many of you are as excited for the upcoming 2023 ACRA Conference in Indianapolis as we are, and now we have a fantastic new event available: now you can join ACRA on a bus tour of the monuments, architecture, and iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway!

Indianapolis is known for its monuments and architecture. The city has the most monuments dedicated to veterans and war casualties in the U.S. outside of Washington, D.C. Indianapolis was planned by Alexander Ralston and Elias Pym Fordham. Ralston had been a surveyor for the French architect Pierre L’Enfant, assisting him with the plan for Washington, D.C. Tour attendees will see similarities between Indianapolis and Washington, D.C.

After seeing monuments and various neighborhoods, the tour will go to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for their View from the Top Tour. This experience includes a 30-minute guided tour of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with stops at Victory Podium and the iconic Pagoda. This is your chance to see what the winners see! From atop Victory Podium, you can stand in the footsteps of past Indy 500 winners, overlooking the racetrack, the scoring pylon, and the famous Yard of Bricks. After visiting Victory Lane, you’ll travel to the top of the 153-foot-tall Pagoda for a breathtaking view of the Speedway and the surrounding downtown skyline. This should be quite the tour!

The tour will be on the afternoon of Thursday, September 7 and will cost $75 per person.

Tour space is limited, so register now to reserve your spot! If you register before July 15, you will also receive the conference registration early bird discount. Save your spot for the Best of Indy tour now!
