The ACRA Conference Committee is soliciting proposals for sessions to be held during the annual meeting!

This year’s conference theme—Collaboration and Shared Responsibility—is intended to explore how collective action and mutual accountability intersect with the protection of cultural resources. This includes collaboration among federal, state, tribal, and local entities, as well as the active involvement of communities, practitioners, and other stakeholders. Together, these shared efforts shape how cultural resources are identified, protected, and sustained for future generations.

The ACRA Annual Meeting program is built from your session proposals. If you don’t propose it, it won’t be on the program. Your ideas and sessions are what make this conference happen. The Conference Committee does not design the program in advance; instead, we rely on our members, partners, and colleagues to share their expertise, questions, and experience. If there are topics you want to see at the conference, we encourage you to submit a proposal—or ask your network to do so.

Proposals are due to ACRA Conference Chair Bonnie Gibson by April 3, 2026Click here to learn more about the information needed for submittal.

It is through member participation that our conference program can expand each year, bringing new ideas and evoking teamwork as we strive to make our industry stronger. Submit your ideas by April 3!
